Ancoats looks and feels sad stripped of its spirit, how sad you are so blind to see this . Volunteers from the Northern Mill Engine Society have rescued and restored over 25 old textile mill engines - some of then engines which once drove the cotton mills of Lancashire. Most will be in steam on the following dates from 10.00am to 4.00pm, and admission is free!
